Kiel (dpa / lno) - The SPD in Schleswig-Holstein is making a definitive decision today about its new state board.

There are signs of a clear re-election of the state chairman Serpil Midyatli.

In a digital vote at an online party conference, the 45-year-old got around 89 percent of the vote on Saturday.

Midyatli, who has been in office for two years, had no opponent.

Since the statutes do not provide for digital elections, an election was scheduled for Sunday in six cities.

The result is expected in the evening.
