Leverkusen (AP) - Eintracht Frankfurt suffered a defeat at Bayer Leverkusen in the battle for the Champions League.
The Hessians lost 1: 3 (0: 0) on Saturday and as fourth in the table are now only one point ahead of Borussia Dortmund.
BVB had prevailed 2-0 (1-0) at VfL Wolfsburg.
Leon Bailey (70th minute), Lucas Alario (80th) and Kerem Demirbay (90th + 1) scored for the third win in the fifth game under coach Hannes Wolf.
André Silva's goal to make it 1: 2 came too late for the guests (90 + 1).
Leverkusen are sixth in the Bundesliga with 50 points and have at least a theoretical chance at the premier class three game days before the end.
