The alarm about the fire came just before 4 o'clock at night.
Staff from the stations in Hässleholm, Tyringe and Perstorp drove to the site.
- When we arrived, it was completely overheated, says external commander Jan-Olov Fröjd at the rescue service in Hässleholm.
Serious injuries
Five people had left the house.
Three of them were taken by ambulance to hospital.
According to Region Skåne, a woman in her 50s has serious injuries.
According to the police, pets were left inside the building.
The fire had started in the house on a farm.
The rescue service focused its efforts on rescuing the adjacent garage and stable building, which succeeded.
Blocked off
Police will investigate the scene to try to find out how the fire started.
At present, the incident is classified as arson.
