Halle (dpa / sa) - The mountain zoo in Halle will open again to visitors from Saturday.

A spokesman for the zoo announced on Friday that the city's pandemic staff had approved the reopening, taking into account the new federal regulation.

From now on, the opening is no longer linked to the incidence value and short-term closings as recently are no longer to be expected.

Before entering the zoo, however, a current negative corona test must be presented.

Only the tests carried out in an official test center and explicitly no self-tests would be accepted, said the spokesman.

The previous general mask requirement is no longer required.

The mouth and nose protectors would “only have to be worn in places where the minimum distance cannot be maintained”.
