Dresden (dpa / sn) - First aid courses are in high demand in Saxony.

Since the second corona wave subsided somewhat in March, most emergency services have been offering courses again, and these were quickly booked out, according to a dpa survey.

"Since a traffic jam has formed," said the training manager of the Johanniter Accident Aid in Leipzig, Stefan Kupietz.

The need is high.

Driving license applicants and company first aiders in particular are currently being taken into account.

If you want to refresh your knowledge of first aid privately, you have to be patient.

In their first aid courses, the trainers must comply with the current provisions of the Corona occupational health and safety ordinance and hygiene concepts.

Among other things, the training room must be dimensioned in such a way that each course participant has an area of ten square meters.
