The national average Rt index stands at 0.81, thus registering a new decline compared to last week (it was 0.85) and Italy returns to be dyed yellow.

In fact, only 5 regions are in the orange area: Basilicata, Calabria, Puglia, Sicily and Valle d'Aosta (Sardinia is the only red region).

All the other Regions and Autonomous Provinces are in the yellow area.

This is foreseen by the new ordinances that the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, will sign in the coming hours on the basis of the data and indications of the Control Room.

The new ordinances will take effect on April 26.

Despite the good numbers of the last week (with a Rt falling below 1), Sardinia is condemned to at least another week of maximum restrictions based on the data of the previous week, when the contagion index was well above the critical threshold of 1.25.

At least 14 days with better data are needed to hope for orange: we will talk about it again in a week.

15 yellow regions

There are 15 regions in the yellow zone: Abruzzo, Campania, Emilia Romagna, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Lazio, Liguria, Lombardy, Molise, Marche, Piedmont, Pa Bolzano, Pa Trento, Tuscany, Umbria and Veneto.

About 50 million Italians who will be able to return to the restaurant, the bar, the cinema, always strictly until 10pm. The whole of Centronord, apart from Val d'Aosta: in fact, the South is still behind, and to pay the duty and still high risk thresholds.
