Hanover / Bremen (dpa / lni) - The stricter rules of the federal emergency brake against Corona will take effect from Saturday in Lower Saxony and Bremen.
In the Hanover region, for example, with more than one million people, exit restrictions apply from 10 p.m. in the evening.
It ends at 5 a.m.
A good dozen other districts are also affected by the curfew, in which the infection rate is higher than 100 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in one week.
In Bremen and Bremerhaven, the curfew takes effect from midnight on Friday night.
Bremen's Senator for the Interior, Ulrich Mäurer (SPD), announced that the police would act with a sense of proportion, but resolutely, during their controls.
Depending on the infection situation, shopping with an appointment and a negative rapid test may or may not be possible in the districts.
The limit is an incidence of 150. In Bremerhaven, appointment shopping is therefore possible, in Bremen not.
