Mainz (dpa / lrs) - Federal law breaks state law: Rhineland-Palatinate has adapted its pandemic rules to the new federal emergency brake.
The country's 19th Corona regulation, which was discussed in the Council of Ministers on Friday, is to come into force on Saturday.
The State Chancellery in Mainz announced on Friday.
With the expanded nationwide Infection Protection Act, uniform rules should apply to every district and every independent city in Germany if the number of new corona infections per 100,000 inhabitants rises over 100 within a week on three days.
The night exit restrictions that will then apply in Rhineland-Palatinate will in future only apply from 10 p.m. instead of 9 p.m.
You are not allowed to leave your own apartment or property until 5 a.m. - unless there are good reasons.
Exercise in the fresh air is allowed until midnight, but only on your own.

Most specialty stores are only allowed to open to customers with a negative corona test no longer than 24 hours old and a booked appointment.
From an incidence of 150, only the collection of ordered goods is allowed.
With an incidence between 50 and 100, according to the State Chancellery, shopping with appointments is possible, with a value below 50 on five subsequent days, appointments are unnecessary.
Restaurants in regions with an incidence of more than 100 must remain closed; if the number is lower, outdoor restaurants can be opened.
An incidence of more than 100 allows only contactless individual sports, a maximum of two or with members of your own household.
For children up to 14 years of age, group sports remain possible
According to the State Chancellery, music and art lessons outside of schools are possible up to an incidence of 100 with a maximum of one person per 40 square meters of classroom.
A test is mandatory for singing and playing wind instruments in closed rooms.
