Gütersloh (dpa / lnw) - Two people were injured in a collision of several cars on Autobahn 2 near Gütersloh.
A 34-year-old had lost control of his car on Friday evening and drove into an embankment.
The vehicle overturned and the driver was thrown out of the car, the police said.
The car then slid back onto the road, lying on the roof.
This meant that an 80-year-old had to brake his car so hard that another vehicle crashed into his rear.
The 34-year-old and the 80-year-old driver were taken to hospital.
The A2 was temporarily blocked in the direction of Dortmund.
