U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and CDC external advisory bodies held a meeting and recommended the resumption of the Janssen vaccine, which was decided to discontinue use due to controversy over side effects.

Of the 8 million people who received Janssen's corona vaccine in the U.S., 15 cases of thrombotic side effects were finally counted, and a review of the side effects showed that the benefit of the vaccine outweighs the risk.

CDC has announced that it is recommending that pregnant women get the corona vaccine as well.

In the past, it was an individual choice, but it was a position that pregnant women could get the vaccine, but now they have recommended vaccination.

[Walensky/Director of CDC, USA: The important thing is that no safety concerns were found. Therefore, the CDC recommends that pregnant women get the corona vaccine.]

The effectiveness of the vaccine is showing that the number of corona deaths in the United States has decreased by 80% compared to the peak.

However, the number of vaccinations per day fell to 3.4 million on the 13th and then gradually decreased to less than 3 million in 15 days.

U.S. health authorities are also deepening concerns about persuading people who refuse to be vaccinated to achieve collective immunity.
