Magdeburg (dpa / sa) - The police will continue to assist the regulatory authorities of districts and municipalities in monitoring compliance with the exit restrictions in the Corona crisis.
A spokesman for the Interior Ministry announced on Friday in Magdeburg.
The police will support the regulatory authorities "as part of administrative assistance," it said.
This has been happening since the beginning of the pandemic in spring 2020. The state police of Saxony-Anhalt will continue to implement this "in the usual way", for example with previous exit restrictions, and in close coordination with the districts and urban districts.
Documents providing exemptions from legal restrictions should be carried to facilitate controls, the spokesman said.
However, he did not provide details on the type of documents to be carried.
