Hanover (dpa) - Nursing employees are burdened by the Corona crisis like never before, and recruiting for motivated young professionals seems more necessary than ever. When the pandemic did not yet emerge, Lower Saxony reformed training in the care sector. The previously separate training courses in children's nursing as well as elderly and sick care have been merged. A good year later, Lower Saxony's Minister of Health and Social Affairs Daniela Behrens (SPD) wants to take stock of this at noon today (12 noon). The minister will also comment on whether there are enough offspring in clinics and homes and whether the reform of training has paid off.Representatives of the Lower Saxony Hospital Society and the municipal umbrella organizations also want to comment on the situation in nursing and in the clinics.
