According to information from the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection, the Guizhou Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection has conducted an investigation on Long Shiyong, the former party secretary and vice chairman of the Qiandongnan Prefecture CPPCC for serious violations of discipline and law.

  After investigation, Long Shiyong violated organizational discipline, failed to report personal matters in accordance with regulations, promoted and adjusted cadres in violation of regulations; violated integrity and discipline, illegally borrowed money to management service targets and charged high interest, which affected the fair execution of official duties, and received significantly more than normal courtesy. Violation of life discipline; violation of national laws and regulations, which constitutes a violation of the law; using the convenience of the position to seek benefits for others, illegally accepting others’ property, the amount is extremely large, suspected of taking bribes.

  As a leading cadre of a party member and a national public official, Long Shiyong seriously violated party discipline, constituted a violation of the law and was suspected of taking bribes, and should be dealt with seriously.

In accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on Disciplinary Actions of the Communist Party of China", "The Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China", "The Law of the People's Republic of China on Governmental Sanctions of Public Officials" and other relevant regulations, it was decided after the Standing Committee Meeting of the Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Executive Meeting of the Provincial Supervision Commission and reported to the Provincial Party Committee for approval. Long Shiyong was given a sanction of expulsion from the party, and the provincial supervisory committee gave him a sanction of expulsion; confiscated his illegal income; transferred his suspected crime to the procuratorial organ for review and prosecution in accordance with the law, and the property involved was transferred with the case.

Long Shiyong's Biography

  Long Shiyong, male, Miao nationality, was born in May 1963 in Zhenyuan, Guizhou, with a bachelor's degree. He joined the Communist Party of China in December 1985 and started working in September 1986.

  From March 1997 to January 1998, Member of the Standing Committee of the Zhenyuan County Party Committee and Director of the County Party Committee Office;

  From January 1998 to June 1999, member of the Standing Committee of the Zhenyuan County Party Committee and Secretary of the County Commission for Discipline Inspection;

  From June 1999 to February 2002, Member of the Standing Committee of Zhenyuan County Party Committee and Deputy County Mayor;

  From February 2002 to May 2002, Member of the Standing Committee of Majiang County Party Committee and Deputy County Mayor;

  From May 2002 to January 2003, Deputy Secretary, Deputy County Head and Acting County Head of Majiang County Party Committee;

  From January 2003 to April 2006, Deputy Secretary of the Majiang County Party Committee and County Chief (During the period, he was appointed as the Assistant to the Mayor of Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province from April 2004 to September 2004);

  From April 2006 to December 2010, Secretary of Majiang County Party Committee;

  From December 2010 to February 2012, Secretary of the Majiang County Party Committee and Secretary of the Party Working Committee of Majiang Bibo Industrial Park (concurrently);

  From February 2012 to October 2012, member and deputy director of the Party Group of the Standing Committee of Qiandongnan Prefecture People’s Congress, secretary of the Majiang County Party Committee, and secretary of the Party Working Committee of Majiang Bibo Industrial Park (concurrently);

  From October 2012 to January 2017, member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Qiandongnan Prefecture;

  From January 2017 to February 2017, Deputy Secretary of the CPPCC Party Group of Qiandongnan Prefecture, and Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Qiandongnan Prefecture People's Congress;

  In February 2017, Deputy Secretary and Vice Chairman of the Political Consultative Conference of Qiandongnan Prefecture;

  In January 2021, he ceased to serve as the deputy secretary of the CPPCC Party Committee of Qiandongnan Prefecture, and ceased to serve as the vice chairman of the Qiandongnan Prefecture CPPCC in February of the same year.
