It was at 22:48, Thursday, that the first call came in to the police command center (RLC).

According to callers, a man walked around on Skurholmen and behaved aggressively and threw a stone into a glass pane, among other things.

- We sent out a police patrol that searched the area but without results, says Stefan Andersson, RLC officer.

Threatening to several people

A report of damage was made and it did not take many hours before the police were to be alerted again.

The man must then have been threatening several people and at 04:30 he is found.

- In connection with investigative measures regarding the night's events, the man becomes aggressive and threatening the patrol, Andersson says.

Suspected of three crimes

The man was arrested on suspicion of threatening an official and is also suspected of vandalism and unlawful threats.

The patrol has contacted prosecutors for further directives and at present it is unclear whether the 50-year-old man will be arrested or whether the arrest will be lifted.
