Leipzig (dpa / sn) - The Saxon Greens want to get in the mood for the federal election on Friday (6 p.m.) in Leipzig.
While the two-day delegates' assembly begins with the key proposal for election, the state list will be drawn up on Saturday.
The main proposal has the motto «With us.
For the future".
Further applications include dealing with water as a resource, the issue of migration and the attitude of the Greens to the expansion of Leipzig-Halle Airport.
In addition, an urgency request for a “NoCovid strategy” was submitted.
Saxony's alliance greens want to use the current tailwind for their party and achieve a double-digit result for the federal election on September 26th.
This would more than double the result of the last federal election in 2017 of 4.6 percent.
Instead of the previous two mandates, the party is now aiming for three mandates.
There are seven applications for the first three places on the state list.
The Leipzig doctor Paula Piechotta is running for first place.
