The man suspected of killing a 49-year-old police officer in Rambouillet - a town of 26 thousand inhabitants 60 kilometers from Paris - would have shouted 'Allah Akbar': this is what police unions cited by BFM-TV report. Meanwhile, the French counter-terrorism (Sdat, Sous-direction anti-terrorist) is evaluating what has happened. The man, a Tunisian according to the first elements of the investigation, died in turn from the gunshots fired by the police during the arrest. The attack took place around 2.20pm, according to a police source. The official, hit by a slit in the throat, died on the spot following a "cardio respiratory" arrest. Instead, the attacker died in hospital, where he was taken in serious condition.
