India today recorded the largest daily death toll from Corona injuries in the world for the second day in a row, while the overstretched Indian health system is struggling to absorb the numbers of injured, and many countries of the world have suspended trips with it, while Japan prepares to declare a short-term maximum emergency in Tokyo and other regions.

The Indian Ministry of Health data showed that the authorities recorded 332,730 new daily injuries, bringing the total number of injuries to more than 16 million cases, and the number of deaths due to the pandemic increased to nearly 2,263 within one day, bringing the total to 186,920 cases.

Officials in the north and west of the country, including the capital, New Delhi, have warned that most hospitals are overwhelmed and at risk of running out of oxygen.

The increase in cases came as a fire broke out in a hospital in a suburb of Mumbai treating Covid-19 patients, and killed 13 people today, in the latest accident in a facility overcrowded with people living with Coronavirus in India, which is the second largest epidemic in the world after the United States.

And 22 of those infected with Covid-19 died the day before yesterday, Wednesday, in a government hospital in Maharashtra, after the supply of oxygen was cut off due to a leak in the tank.

The situation in India due to Corona is tragic and it is considered more dangerous than wars and disasters. It is

true that there is a mutant in India that is considered bimodal and has the ability to hide from immunity as well as the fastest spreading,

but the main reason is large gatherings and the establishment of religious rituals and lack of readiness

and some people complain about the situation with us, I give

thanks to your Lord!

Twitter today to request emergency oxygen supplies for its hospitals in the Indian capital.

Stop trips

As a result of the records of Corona injuries in India, many countries of the world stopped flights with the Asian country, while other countries tightened measures in the face of those coming from India.

On Thursday, Canada announced a temporary ban on passenger flights from India and Pakistan for 30 days, as part of tightening measures to combat the spread of the Corona virus.

The Canadian decision does not include cargo flights from India, and Canadian Transport Minister Omar Al-Ghabra said that his country would not hesitate to ban flights from other countries if necessary.

Britain had said earlier that it would add India to the list of countries from which it bans most travel, due to the high number of Covid-19 cases.

Moreover, France imposes a 10-day quarantine on travelers from India and other countries, while the UAE on Thursday suspended all flights from India, and the Yemeni government decided a temporary ban on the travel of its citizens to India, starting today, Friday, due to the spread of the Corona virus, The Supreme National Committee to confront Corona said - in a statement - that the return flights from India to Yemen will continue according to the usual schedule, to return the Yemenis who are there.

Tokyo emergency

In Japan, Economy Minister Yasutoshi Nishimura said that under the new state of emergency that will be imposed in the cities of Tokyo, Osaka, and two other provinces, from April 25 to May 11, the government will request the closure of restaurants and bars, as well as the holding of major sporting events. Without an audience, the Japanese minister added that violating these restrictions would lead to the imposition of punitive measures according to a law that was recently amended.

These new restrictions are scheduled to be officially approved at a meeting of the government committee in charge of the Corona file later on Friday, 3 months before Japan hosts the Olympic Games.

In Britain, the authorities reported yesterday that they had counted 168 cases of blood clots in the country among people who received the AstraZeneca vaccine against the Corona virus, 32 of which resulted in death out of more than 21.2 million first doses that were administered, and the British authorities said in a report that the analysis This data, recorded as of April 14, allows for certainty that "the benefits of the vaccine still outweigh the risks for the majority of people."

The incidence of thrombosis is 7.9 per million doses, and the scientific committee overseeing the British vaccination campaign recommended at the beginning of this month that the use of the AstraZeneca vaccine be limited to those over the age of 30, when possible.

Fears of rare cases of blood clots have led many European countries to give the British vaccine to older age groups.
