Chad pays a last tribute this Friday to President Idriss Déby.
The head of state died earlier this week from his injuries after taking part in fighting against rebels in the north of the country.
A national funeral is celebrated in the Chadian capital where many officials are expected.
The mortal remains must then be airlifted to Amdjarass, a locality adjacent to his native village of Berdoba near the Sudanese border.
Idriss Deby will be buried there in the intimacy of his family.
