The case on the death of 12 people in a fire in a nursing home in the Moscow region was sent to the court

This was reported to TASS by the representative of the Moscow Region Prosecutor's Office Natalia Grigorieva.

According to her, the Krasnogorsk City Court will consider the case.

Grigorieva also added that the 38-year-old accused is currently in custody.

As Olga Vradiy, a representative of the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region, told the agency, during the interrogations the accused fully admitted his guilt, and also fully reimbursed the victims for material damage and the costs of the funeral.

On May 10, 2020, at night, a fire broke out in a nursing home in the Moscow region. Nine people died from carbon monoxide poisoning on the spot, and three more died from burns to the body in the hospital.
