“Czech diplomacy made a maneuver, apparently, having heard our yesterday's statement that the conversation would be continued with the Czech ambassador, decided to talk with our ambassador in Prague before this meeting,” she said during the briefing.
Zakharova added that "the main thing is that while going to the maneuver, Prague does not go into its peak."
On April 21, Czech Foreign Minister Jakub Kulganek, in a conversation with Zmeevsky, demanded that Moscow return 20 Czech diplomats to their places at the embassy, a decision on this should be made before noon on April 22.
Otherwise, Prague threatened to start "the option of bringing the staffs of both embassies into parity in terms of the number of employees."
Zakharova, commenting on this ultimatum, said that on April 22 "the conversation with the Czech Ambassador will be continued."
