Far more than 300 demonstrators were arrested, the GdP announced on Thursday.

During the demonstration with around 8,000 participants around the Brandenburg Gate and on Straße des 17. Juni there were sometimes violent clashes with the police.

Around 2200 police officers from several federal states were on duty.

They had cordoned off a large area of ​​the Reichstag building and the Brandenburg Gate.
