By a court decision, a 22-year-old resident of Perm was sentenced to 18 years in prison for the murder of an 8-month-old stepdaughter, committed while intoxicated. This was reported by the press service of the Investigative Committee of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Perm Territory.
"By a court verdict, the convicted person was sentenced to 18 years in prison with restraint of liberty for a period of one year and six months with serving in a penal colony with a strict regime," the message says.
The verdict came into force.
In July 2020, it was reported that a case into the murder of a baby was being investigated in Perm.
