The Syrian engineer and interior designer, Abd al-Muti Saeed, turned a cave in the Idlib countryside into a museum of human and natural history, containing sculptures that simulate antiquities and the succession of civilizations.

When you enter the cave located in the town of Aqrabat near the Syrian-Turkish border, the updated artifacts and monuments take you back thousands of years, on a unique journey about the story of civilization and mankind.

Abd al-Mu'ti, 53, who was displaced from the countryside of Aleppo to Idlib - to Al-Jazeera Net - says that the work in the cave took two months to reach its current form, noting that the most prominent things he made were stalagmites, stalagmites, columns and the Roman gate.

Abdel Moati sees this work as a release of his energy in things that are loved for him, and an outlet for the children who keep visiting the cave with the aim of entertainment and exploring the sculptures he made.
