Dresden (dpa) - Third division soccer team Dynamo Dresden can resume team training on Friday after several days of quarantine and individual training.

The Dresden Health Department has given the green light for this, as two series of corona tests were negative for all players and the coaching and support staff.

The association informed about this in a press release.

On Thursday, Markus Kauczinski's team initially trained in small groups.

On Saturday, Dynamo will meet Halleschen FC (2 p.m. / MagentaSport).

"With the decision made today, we can now direct our full focus and energy to preparing for the upcoming home game against Halle on Saturday," said Dynamos sports director Ralf Becker in a club announcement.

The team had to sit out after Ransford-Yeboah Königsdörffer and Pascal Sohm tested positive for Covid-19 last week.

As a result, the games against MSV Duisburg last Saturday and against KFC Uerdingen last Tuesday had to be canceled.
