April 19, 2021: A 7-year-old girl was killed and her father was seriously injured in a shooting in Chicago while the two were inside a car in a McDonald's parking lot. The police made it known. A fast-food employee told the Chicago Sun-Times that two people got out of a gray car and started shooting at the vehicle in which Jontae Adams and daughter Jaslyn were in, in the Homan Square neighborhood.



The girl was taken to the hospital, where she died. The father was wounded in the torso and is hospitalized in serious condition. No arrests were made and no possible reason for the shooting was given.
