Bielefeld (dpa / lnw) - Curious hit and miss in Bielefeld: The police are looking for a stranger who has hit a traffic sign - which, according to the police, flew almost 50 meters further through the bathroom window of a resident due to the impact.
The woman had heard a loud noise around 2:30 a.m. and a car racing with it.
“She went into her bathroom and found a traffic sign on the floor.
The window and a hanging cabinet were damaged, "said the police on Wednesday about the incident on Monday.
According to investigators, the driver had hit a traffic island with a bracket and a traffic sign.
"During the impact, the traffic sign came off, hurled through the window, about 47 meters away, against the bathroom cabinet and came to rest in the room," said the police.
The damage to the traffic island, house and bathroom is around 1500 euros.
