In turn, the Lukashenka administration said that "issues of interaction in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, further steps to restore a full-fledged transport connection will be discussed."

“In addition, Alexander Lukashenko and Vladimir Putin will discuss joint response to current challenges and threats, exchange views on the international agenda, the situation in the region,” the Belarusian president's press service added.

The talks between the presidents of Russia and Belarus Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko will be held in Moscow on April 22.

Earlier, Lukashenka said that he plans to meet with Putin.

According to him, it will be "a serious meeting to discuss certain problems."
