Unterföhring (dpa) - Five years after the racist attack on the Olympia shopping center (OEZ) in Munich with nine dead, the pay-TV channel Sky filmed the events of July 22, 2016. A four-part true crime documentary is planned, the broadcaster announced on Wednesday .
"We focus on finding out how the terrible act could come about and maybe even make a small contribution so that something similar does not happen again," said director Johannes Preuss.

Police officers, doctors, forensic scientists, psychologists, extremism researchers and other experts have their say in 50-minute episodes.
Also involved is the journalist Martin Bernstein, who accompanied the events at that time and the subsequent reappraisal for the “Süddeutsche Zeitung”.
In the attack, an 18-year-old shot nine people and then killed himself.
Many of the victims came from a migrant background.
The investigators initially assumed an act of revenge.
It was only in March 2018 that the Federal Office of Justice classified the act as extremist, and the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office (LKA) also joined in.
