The police investigation shows that "Hassan" drove into the other car at 180 kilometers per hour.

When the police arrive, they are met by cars that are seriously damaged.

- I got in via the passenger side of this car and then saw this driver sitting stuck.

But I soon noticed that he was no longer with us, says Fredrik Marklund, one of the police officers who was first on the scene.

The driver of the car, a 47-year-old man, dies.

His partner Irena and the couple's two children are left behind. 

"It's us who are injured"

When the police arrive, they soon understand that the person who caused the fatal crash is "Hassan".

He is currently on parole from a prison sentence for robbery, theft and receiving.

He has a long criminal career behind him even though he is 20 years old and is notorious with the police for his car chases.

- What is the point of locking people in and then being able to let them out again when they do not get the help they really need?

It is we who are injured, we ordinary people who are out here, says Irena.

"Hassan" tells Uppdrag review that he feels remorse for what happened.

His real name is something else.
