It has now been a year since Rosa Almeida left the manege and entered the intensive care unit at Södertälje Hospital.

- I had prepared for a war zone.

But I noticed that death was not the worst.

But it was ethical thoughts and discussions: when do we prolong death and when do we save lives?

says Rosa Almeida.

"Of course been tough"

Apart from a summer in the home care service, Rosa Almeida has no previous care experience.

- You were really thrown into it, it became a lot of "learning by doing", she says.

How did it go?

- As a circus educator, I am still used to working with people and seeing where help is needed, says Rosa Almeida.

It has of course been a tough job, but I have learned a lot.
