President Moon Jae-in reaffirmed two prerequisites for the amnesty of former Presidents Lee Myung-bak and Park Geun-hye: public consensus and national unity.

President Moon held a luncheon meeting with Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon and Busan Mayor Park Hyeong-jun at Sang Chun-jae of the Blue House on the day of today (21st).

At this meeting, Mayor Park said, "I can say that the former president is the best citizen, but it hurts. As you invited the two of us today, I ask you to reconsider the great integration" .

Regarding this, President Moon said, "It is heartbreaking for the two former presidents to be imprisoned, and it is regrettable that both of them are elderly and have poor health." "It should work," he said, "we have no choice but to consider these two together."

A senior Cheong Wa Dae official said, "Is it not in terms of consent or rejection?" "I think I'm talking about it"
