In this article, I address directly the warlords in Yemen on both sides, away from the drawers of reports, information and trends of analysis, and away from the intensity of regional and international interventions, and the proxy wars that you are carrying out, to tell you enough!

Yemen has suffered at your hands severe bitterness of every kind and color.

7 lean years passed by you while you were fighting, so what have you achieved for Yemen except tragedies, devastation and destruction?

Who are you fighting for?

And for how long will you continue this game of death and destruction, when you know you are wrong?

How long will you keep slaughtering yourselves and cutting your veins?

Where is your wisdom, O people of Yemen?

How did you surrender to the blindness of the authority, the leadership, and the regional and international intrigues, while you have to slaughter Yemen and its people?

What are you waiting for more than that, after tens of thousands of deaths, hundreds of thousands of wounded, millions of displaced and displaced persons, and after the massive destruction of Yemen and its social, urban, agricultural, industrial and commercial infrastructure?

Why do you insist on continuing this crazy, futile war?

Absurd because it is among the people of the same nation, and there is no real enemy in it, and because it has no goal, and even if it had a goal, it is an impossible goal, and because it has no victor, everyone is a loser, all of Yemen is a loser, and the only victor is the destruction, devastation and suffering that endures everywhere

Years pass by you as fast as lightning, because you are very busy around the clock with the details of your political and military battles against each other, but these years pass slowly and fight your victims, who are crammed into hospitals and cemeteries, in displacement camps, and at the gates of relief organizations and immigration offices.

You fluctuate between the joy of victories and the pain of defeats, as your victims fluctuate between funerals, wounds, tears, hunger, disease, displacement, fear, oppression, persecution, destruction and devastation that await them in every corner and under every stone.

The worst thing is that you do not feel the reality and extent of this suffering, and you think - arrogance and arrogance - that the people bear this loyalty to you and sacrifice your slogans.

How long will you carry on in this absurd, crazy war?

Why do you insist on continuing this bloody conflict any longer?

What do you want to get to in this crazy, futile war?

Yes, the crazy absurdity is absurd because it is among the people of the same nation, and because it has no real enemy but an artificial one, and because it has no goal, and even if it had a goal, then it is an impossible goal, and because it has no victor, everyone is a loser, all of Yemen is a loser, the people of Yemen are all losers, The present and the entire future of Yemen is in evident loss, and the only victor is the multifaceted destruction, devastation and suffering that nestle everywhere.

As for why she is crazy, because she is not ruled by reason, is not controlled by wisdom, rules or principles, and because her parties are determined to continue with her despite her absurdity.

Where is the Yemeni wisdom, O people of wisdom?

How lost wisdom from you all these years?

Look forward a little. If the war continues for the next 10 years, what will be left for you from Yemen?

You will continue under your names, behind your screens, ranting about your victories, mourning your defeats, and exchanging accusations and condemnations, while the number of dead, wounded, displaced and displaced increases, so that you will not be left from Yemen except for your seats and the seats of your followers.

I think that the experience that you came out with from the severe years of war that have passed, confirms to you that it is absurd and madness to continue this war.

The Libyan model

The Libyan forces were able, after the war they had won, to reach an agreement among themselves to end the fighting and the peaceful transition of the country by forming a transitional government that would pave the way for holding democratic elections in which everyone would compete in the ballot box, away from the nozzles of guns, machine guns and the deaths they carry. And devastation. Although the road to next December - the date of the elections - is not easy and fraught with many dangers, the step in itself is a step in the right direction, in order to move from the culture of trenches, operating rooms and leading military battles, to a culture of thinking about the homeland and the people. And to make concessions to preserve their interests, in a way that achieves balance for the interests of the conflicting parties.

This Libyan experience and the progress it has achieved should be a strong incentive for you to emulate it, and move to the arena of wise political action with the rest of the Yemeni parties, to agree on a transitional stage that allows Yemen and the Yemeni people to collect their wounds, bury their dead, and restore what remains of their buildings, to stand Anew, and the process of development and progress begins on solid foundations, which secure a promising future for future generations.

Yes, there are many regional and international obstacles that will thwart reconciliation efforts, but the biggest reason lies in your souls, the extent of your will, the level of your independence, the extent of your belonging to Yemen and the Yemeni people, and the extent of your concern for the future of Yemen and its capabilities.

And all of this is in your hands, not in the hands of other regional and international parties that only follow their interests, and the time has come for you to move behind your own interests, Yemenis before anything else.

Look at the Security Council resolutions related to the ongoing war between you, which have always affirmed the unity, sovereignty, independence and safety of Yemen, their standing with the Yemeni people, the settlement of the dispute through dialogue, and the renunciation of violence to achieve political goals, but at the same time they remained silent on the attempts to divide Yemen. Violating his sovereignty, robbing his independence, and feeding the war machine to destroy his safety, destroy his capabilities, and increase the suffering of his people.

It is the hideous intelligence war that surrounded you and ignited its fire among you in order to achieve its regional and international interests, and you know this very well.

Steps towards reconciliation

This was not the first time that Yemen witnessed a civil war in its contemporary history, and it is necessary to benefit from the historical experiences of these wars to get rid of the ongoing war as soon as possible, but rather to benefit from the experiences of other countries that have witnessed Arab and international conflicts and civil wars, and in order to advance Moving forward towards reconciliation, many foundational actions should be undertaken to help this, foremost among which are:

1. Declaration of a comprehensive cessation of war

Declaration of a comprehensive and open cessation of war in all parts of Yemen, which will continue until a comprehensive solution is found and agreed upon by all parties.

2. Preserving the Yemeni solution

Emphasizing that the solution must be purely Yemeni, under the supervision of the United Nations, and that its sessions be held in Sana'a, away from any regional or international interference.

3. Cutting the external supply arteries

To stop receiving financial and military aid that comes to you from regional countries that support you for the sake of their interests, not for yours.

4. Restore normal life to Yemen

In conjunction with the cessation of the war, calls are being made for the return of the displaced and refugees to their homes and businesses in Yemen, and the provision of the necessary aid to them, as well as the return of political parties and forces and their activities from within.

5. Unify the position on the war

Launching an intellectual and cultural revolution led by thinkers, academics, intellectuals, media professionals and economists, to form a general position among the Yemeni people that rejects the continuation of the war and calls for resolving the existing conflicts between all Yemeni forces through dialogue.

6. To stop the media war

In conjunction with the cessation of the war, the mutual media incitement campaigns between the two sides must be stopped, the common patriotism spread, and help in preparing the atmosphere for reconciliation and the restoration of peace and democratic life to Yemen.

The Yemeni youth who are swallowed up by the ongoing war, it is more important for them to be constructive arms in the march of development and development, and that the urban, societal and psychological devastation that has befallen Yemen is more important for it to descend upon corruption, ignorance and tyranny, and that the leaders who spend their time day and night planning and managing battles, and in the making of Death and destruction to the homeland and the people, it is more important for them to unite their efforts to plan the future of Yemen and build it on solid national foundations that provide future generations with stability, security, progress and prosperity.
