Schwerin / Buchholz (dpa) - Due to the stricter Corona rules, Daria Rassau, Hannah Jantzen and Katharina Böhmker from the third division club SV Grün-Weiß Schwerin will no longer make use of their second game rights for the handball Bundesliga club HL Buchholz 08-Rosengarten.

"We are very grateful to the lynxes for the chance our players got and are already looking forward to further cooperation," said Schwerin Managing Director Steffen Franke on Wednesday about the decision.

The decision was made to forego the training measures in Buchholz in view of the current situation in the pandemic.

"The implementation and safeguarding of the game operations of both clubs, as well as the health of our athletes, have top priority for us," emphasized Franke.

In mid-February, the trio had received the right to play for the Bundesliga club, who had responded to the shortage of personnel in their team.

The 3rd division had paused at this point.
