Darmstadt (dpa / lhe) - The effects of a warning strike at the Technical Surveillance Association Hessen (Tüv) have apparently kept within limits.

Despite a strike call by the Verdi service union for around 1,300 Tüv employees, all testing centers in Hesse were open on Wednesday, the testing company announced in Darmstadt.

General inspections, acceptances or damage reports could have taken place as planned.

In the driving tests, however, there were individual failures.

A Verdi spokeswoman said of the TÜV notification: “I have other information.

I know that many colleagues are on strike. "

However, she did not have the exact numbers at lunchtime.

In the current collective bargaining round, Verdi had called for a warning strike on Wednesday in several federal states.

The union sees their demands of seven percent or at least 300 euros more money not sufficiently taken into account.

The employee side is only offering 4.5 percent more money in two stages.

The negotiations also deal with the option of choosing between higher salaries and converting to leisure time.

The collective bargaining will continue next Tuesday (April 27th).
