Boppard (dpa / lrs) - With a helicopter and a sniffer dog, the police searched for the perpetrator after an attempted break-in into a daycare center in Boppard (Rhein-Hunsrück district).
As the police announced on Wednesday, a witness had disturbed the initially unknown man on Tuesday evening when he attempted to break into the daycare center.
The subsequent manhunt was therefore unsuccessful.
The perpetrator was fleeting, it was said.
The police is now looking for witnesses.
