Bremerhaven / Wolfsburg (dpa / lni) - The Fischtown Pinguins from Bremerhaven lack one victory for the next surprise in the playoffs of the German Ice Hockey League.

After the spectacular 4-2 success in the first of three possible quarter-finals against the Grizzlys Wolfsburg, the Seestädter can make their first place in the playoff semi-finals with another success on Thursday (7.30 p.m. / MagentaSport).

The guests from Lower Saxony looked like the winner in game one.

The Grizzlys led 2: 1 until the 56th minute, then Dominik Uher, Jan Urbas (59th) and seven seconds later Uher made the turnaround.

«We had to be patient and active.

We weren't allowed to get the third goal, but still had to build up pressure at the front, ”said coach Thomas Popiesch.

"Then we were lucky enough to score the goals a minute before the end."

The Slovenian international Urbas, who celebrated his comeback after his injury, once again showed his importance for Bremerhaven.

"It was nice to be there again," he said at MagentaSport and is looking forward to the possible series victory.

"You work towards it all season."

Wolfsburg, on the other hand, is still hoping for a possible decisive match on Saturday (5.30 p.m.) in Bremerhaven.

"It could have gone in both directions," annoyed grizzly coach Pat Cortina after the start.

«We played a good first third.

Bremerhaven was better from the second round.

I hope we can play all thirds on Thursday as we did at the beginning. "
