Västernorrland currently has the highest infection rate in the country.
Last week, a new record was set in the number of those found infected in covid- 19 in the county - close to 1,600 new cases.
According to Hans Boman, the number of infected will increase before the peak is reached in early May.
The very epicenter of the spread of infection right now is Örnsköldvik with around half of the new cases.
It is the British mutation of the virus that is ravaging - extra contagious and with a more difficult course of the disease.

A total of 21,892 cases were found in Västernorrland during the corona pandemic and 437 people died from the disease.
Today, 64 people who have fallen ill with Covid-19 are hospitalized.
12 patients are currently in the intensive care unit.
