A road drama took place this Wednesday morning, at 9:30 a.m., in Moisdon-la-Rivière in Loire-Atlantique.
A 79-year-old woman was struck by a heavy weight at a place called La Pinais, reports Sdis 44 (Loire-Atlantique departmental fire and rescue service) in a press release.
On their arrival on the scene, the dozen firefighters noted the death of the victim, without the possibility of resuscitation.
An investigation will be opened by the gendarmerie to clarify the circumstances of this accident.
