Kyffhäuserland (dpa / th) - A 15-year-old moped driver was seriously injured in an accident in the Kiffhäuserkreis.
The young person was on Tuesday evening between Bendeleben and Rottleben (both districts of Kyffhäuserland), as the police announced on Wednesday.
When he tried to avoid an oncoming vehicle that was just overtaking, he got off the lane, drove through a ditch and collided with a tree.
The driver of the other car drove on unrecognized.
The 15-year-old was rushed to hospital with serious injuries.
