WTO Director-General: WTO reform should respond to changes in the world

  In terms of trade in goods, Okonjo-Iweala said that the reform of the World Trade Organization must be inclusive, not to exclude less developed countries, and to include low-income countries in the world trade system.

  In terms of the digital economy, Okonjo-Iweala said that technology has changed the current business model. The rise of the digital economy has allowed data to flow to a great extent. The digital economy needs to strengthen global trade relations and strengthen the standardization of rules to further promote Economic Growth.

  In terms of epidemic prevention and control, Okonjo-Iweala said that the reform of the World Trade Organization should try to solve the problem of export restrictions on vaccines and medical equipment and expand its global production scale.
