"More than 20 ships of the Black Sea Fleet (BSF) have worked out joint training with the crews of the Su-25SM3 attack aircraft of the Air Force and Air Defense Association of the Southern Military District," the message says.
It is noted that the exercises are planned, conducted "in accordance with the plan of the control check of the Black Sea Fleet forces during the winter period of training in the general tactical concept of the check check of the Southern Military District."
"Earlier, more than 50 aircraft of the Southern Military District were relocated to the Republic of Crimea as part of a control check," the department said.
A detachment of ships of the Black Sea Fleet was involved in the maneuvers.
It includes frigates "Admiral Makarov" and "Admiral Essen", small missile ships "Grayvoron" and "Vyshny Volochek", missile boats, small anti-submarine ships.
Earlier, the FBA "Economics Today" reported that the military personnel of the Southern Military District took part in the exercises in the Crimea.
