Zwickau (AP) - Steffen Nkansah saved the third division soccer club FSV Zwickau from the next defeat shortly before the final whistle.

The 25-year-old scored the 1: 1 (0: 1) against FC Bayern Munich II on Tuesday in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

Sarpreet Singh (35th) had put the champions of the previous season in the lead.

Nevertheless, Zwickau remained the sixth game in a row without a win.

While the FSV is in the middle of the field, the little Bavarians are in a relegation battle.

Zwickau pressed up, was initially the much more active team.

However, Bayern made the goal with their first chance.

Singh loaded FSV goalkeeper Johannes Brinkies and pushed the ball into the goal.

That worked, Zwickau barely recovered.

Bayern were much closer to the second goal than the FSV to equalize.

Striker Manfred Starke (62nd) prevented the 0: 2 with a rescue act on the line.

Deep in stoppage time, Nkansah managed to equalize after a standard situation and preparatory work by the advanced Brinkies.
