Rostock / Schwerin (dpa / mv) - The Left in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania has postponed its state party conference planned for next Saturday in the Rostock town hall to June 12th.

"With this measure, the state executive is supporting the nationwide lockdown in order to break the third corona wave and avoid unnecessary contacts," the party announced on Tuesday.

The plan was to vote on the state election program at the party congress.

The draft of the election manifesto had already been approved and published in February.
