Georgensgmünd (dpa / lby) - On the run from a police checkpoint, a car driver crashed into a garden house in Middle Franconia.

The 34-year-old disregarded the stop signals of a patrol in Georgensgmünd (district of Roth), as the police announced on Tuesday.

On his escape on Monday evening, he reportedly struck the police car, another parked car, a tree and a garden fence.

In a left turn, the man finally lost control of his car, broke through a garden fence and ended up in a garden shed, which he reportedly completely destroyed.

Nobody got hurt.

The driver did not have a license and was under the influence of drugs.

Now he is being investigated.
