The Hessians won 3: 1 (1: 0) at the bottom of Würzburger Kickers on Tuesday and climbed to tenth place in the table with 39 points.
Würzburg, on the other hand, has four game days before the end of the season ten points behind Eintracht Braunschweig in 15th place and can be relegated to Karlsruher SC this Friday.
