Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - The Hessian state government relies on a broad spectrum in its education strategy for citizens in the corona pandemic.

In addition to the Hesse-wide hotline for questions and information about the coronavirus under the numbers 0800 555 4666 and +49 611 32 111 000, the website www.corona.hessen.de was also set up, as Welfare State Secretary Anne Janz (Greens) responded to a small request from the AfD Group in Wiesbaden announced.

The central questions about the pandemic are answered on the site. All Corona ordinances on the current rules for protection against infection with the virus, including the design information, can be called up there. This also includes questions and answers on particularly important topics such as the mask requirement, rapid tests and vaccinations. The main information is available on the website in various languages and in easy-to-read language.

According to the information, current corona information is regularly distributed in detail on the social media channels Facebook, Twitter and Instagram of the state government.

To this end, those responsible also publish video messages and podcasts.

In addition to the hotline, citizens could also contact the state government by email on the state's general Corona website and via a chat on the Ministry of Social Affairs' website.
