Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - For the Soest district, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia has ordered a corona emergency brake that will apply from Tuesday.

The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday evening.

In the circle, the incidence value on Saturday was three days in a row above the critical mark of 100, it was said to justify.

On Sunday, however, according to the Robert Koch Institute, the incidence was slightly below 100: 98.7.

The emergency brake means: Contacts are only allowed between one household and a maximum of one other person. Children up to and including 14 years of age are not included. Many shops, cultural sites and providers of certain services are no longer allowed to let anyone into the rooms. However: The district can still decide that the use of these offers with a daily negative test remains permissible.

All shops that are not required for daily needs - such as DIY megastores with garden centers, textile shops and bookstores - are again only allowed to offer a pick-up service (Click & Collect).

Services close to the body where the minimum distance cannot be maintained are again not permitted.

These include cosmetic and nail salons.

Medically required services remain allowed.

Hairdressers are also allowed to stay open.

Museums and art exhibitions must remain closed.

Only outdoor activities are permitted in zoos and botanical gardens.
