About 60 ambulances rush to rescue the victims of the Toukh train in Egypt

The Ministry of Health pushed nearly 60 ambulances to transport the injured urgently, with nearly 100 people injured in a train accident between Cairo and Mansoura.

On Sunday, the Ministry of Health and Population announced that 97 citizens were injured in a train accident (Cairo - Mansoura) in Toukh, Qalyubia Governorate.

Khaled Mujahid, Assistant Minister of Health and Population for Information and Awareness and the official spokesperson for the ministry, explained that immediately after the accident, 58 ambulances were paid to transport the injured to hospitals (Benha Educational, Qalioub Specialist and Banha University).

Mujahid confirmed that the Minister of Health, Hala Zayed, had just traveled to Qalyubia Governorate to follow up on the health status of the injured in the Toukh train collision in hospitals.

Mujahid added that all the injured receive the necessary treatment and medical care in hospitals, stressing that the degree of preparedness has been raised to the utmost level in all hospitals in Qalyubia Governorate.
