Earlier during the pandemic, the Blekinge Region received information from the police that fraudsters contact people by telephone.
These then try to get the called person to give out information such as bank ID or e-identification.
"Vaccinations are free"
Once again, the Blekinge Region is now addressing the issue, which has flared up again.
- Attempted fraud is taking place in various ways where the story is that you get a call.
Therefore, I want to point out that the vaccinations are free and that we do not request a bank ID or other identification, says deputy vaccine coordinator Henrik Magnell.

The region's call for this type of attempted fraud is not to release any information without hanging up.
Earlier, the police issued a call on social media.
“Hang up immediately if you feel stressed or pressured by someone calling. You should never identify yourself with a bank box or mobile bank ID when someone asks you to. Hang up."
