Nuremberg (dpa / lby) - A new online marketplace should enable a virtual stroll through Nuremberg's shops.
The trade association Erlebnis Nürnberg and Ebay set up this together.
Customers will find more than 500,000 products from around 1,100 local suppliers there, as the initiative announced on Wednesday.
In this way, the residents could also provide targeted support to their local retailers during the Corona crisis.
According to eBay, the Nuremberg online marketplace is part of a Germany-wide project to strengthen trade, in which the German Retail Association is also involved.
Nuremberg is the first city from Bavaria to be represented there.
From Germany there are also Chemnitz, Lübeck, Potsdam, Mönchengladbach, Moers, Gummersbach, Diepholz, Bad Kreuznach and the Ortenau region.
